How cruel is this??

I was helping my grand-daughter, Lily, to make a dreamcatcher.  It was only a silly £1 kit so the instructions were somewhat puzzling!  Her mummy thought it was funny to post my 'puzzled' look on Facebook!  My faithful crutches in the background! :s Lea xxx

Winter Garden Challenge

This is my entry to the DC challenge.  I wanted to use a photo of the winter jasmine in my garden but as I am still hobbling on crutches I had to make do with an internet download!  Ah well! :-)

Then I just used stuff from my stash and Promarkers on the flower.

Hope you like it, Lea xx

Wounded Soldier-ette!!

As my fellow Docrafters will know I have been laid up today with a poorly leg! Have to keep it elevated and its in a splint so sitting at the craft table was out of the question.  I spent the time surfing crafty stuff on the net with my leg up and my laptop on my lap (curiously) and learned to upload this lovely design from LeeLou's free blog stuff!  Quite proud of myself!! Cutie Engagement Card

Engagement card for friends son and his new fiancee.  I purchased the decoupage image from Crafts U Print and prettied it up with pink glitter on the flowers and bling on the 'ring finger'!  It was very well received by the couple and also by Mum who says she has a very clever friend!!!

Also purchased the matching insert - its the first time I have used an insert and I was surprised how much it added to the card - need to think about doing this some more!

Hubbys 60th

I couldn't decide which was the better photo so I uploaded both of them!   It was a difficult card to photograph! You can see my shadow/reflection in the bottom one!!  If you look carefully you can see the black background is embossed with dominoes! His second love!! Or is it his first????? I tried to fill the dots with a white pen but it wasnt working so I thought they were best left blank.  The big day was on Boxing Day and we had a wonderful time!  My turn next on 14th January but thankfully mine isnt a 'biggy'.  I have added the cake too - we cheated and bought a plain iced cake and my daughter decorated that and some cupcakes!  Isn't she clever!!!
